EUROFLO® GO-IN SYSTEM PROVIDES EASY DRAINAGE SOLUTION FOR COMMERCIAL DAIRY FARM SHED
A new loafing barn at Tukituki Dairy Goats commercial farm in the Hawkes Bay was in need of a simple drainage solution for rainwater and EUROFLO®’s Go-In System has proven to be the perfect answer.
The open, airy shed with an earth floor covered in wood shavings was designed to give the goats plenty of space to roam but the shed’s design stopped short of a plan for the rainwater runoff.
The downpipes on the Tukituki shed were 150mm diameter and needed to feed into a 300mm pipe down either side of the barn as a means of coursing the stormwater to the nearby stream.
P&F Global was the supplier that came to mind when thinking about a solution. The EUROFLO® pipe with the ‘Go-In’ system was recommended as being quick and easy to use. It is an accessible, off-the-shelf solution that could be added to the build without any hold-up or complications.
The team at Tukituki Dairy Goats opted for the EUROFLO® solution over an alternative solution offered by a plumber/ drainlayer because it was a better price and it was a system they could easily and quickly install themselves. It went together easily and it did the job that they need it to do.
Ease of installation is a major benefit of the Go-In system which allows for vertical installation even when water is flowing. It is also adaptable for branches of either ribbed PE or smooth PVC.
